How We Got Started
The True Test RV Story
In 2019, our family (John, Autumn, 4 kids, and Zeek the dog) started traveling full time in our RV. Not long after, John went back to school at 50 years old so we could start a new life that would allow us to continue traveling. Attending the R.V.S.A. school in Palmetto FL, he completed the program and became a certified tech right before COVID hit.
During COVID, we traveled all over the country in our RV, hitting 44 states before coming back to Palmetto, Florida. It was one of our favorite places and felt more like "home" than any other place we had been.
Not long after, we started True Test Mobile RV, a mobile RV repair company, and it quickly took off. Since then, we have continued to grow our business, and are now True Test RV Repair, Parts, and Storage. We continue to offer our mobile services in addition to in-house repair services for larger jobs, boat and RV storage, and a parts store, with 7 employees and still growing.
Every summer for at least 2 months we still travel in our RV to beat the Florida heat and answer the call of the open road. We are a proudly family-owned and operated business, with years of RV experience and a passion for helping fellow RV'ers. We understand the challenges and frustrations that every RV'er has to face, and are quick to provide quality service with a smile (and a story or two) to help you get back on the road again.
